So, when I first met our publishers, Torey and Danyelle Lam, in 2008, I didn’t have any expectations for the future one way or another.We found our groove, and I’m pleased to be here for the monumental 20th anniversary year of our print magazine! If you missed our special celebratory issue this year, we’ve included a throwback below to 20 years of front covers.The process of selecting the front cover is a dance that brings a lot of joy (and a few gray hairs) with the goal of catching reader attention and showcasing an incredible Hawaii property. Our efforts resulted in the Certificate of Merit Award at the Print Excellence Awards, hosted by the Printing Industries Association, Inc. of Southern California. It’s partially that dedication to excellence from front to back cover that has helped sustain the publication through the ebbs and flows. But truly, we reached this anniversary milestone because of you—your participation, your trust in us, your readership, or your incredible presence in the luxury market.
